🚫 Attention Clinicians: It's time to rethink our FX detection methods! 🚫 Clinicians let's talk about tuning forks and fracture detection. It's a method that's been around for a while, but it's time to move forward. Using tuning forks might have been a common practice, but research and advancements in evidence guided care show us that there are far more accurate and reliable methods to detect fractures in the filed setting. Fracture detection is a critical aspect of sports medicine care, and we need to utilize the most effective assessments at our disposal. Relying on tuning forks can lead to missed diagnoses or incorrect assessments, potentially jeopardizing patient outcomes. Instead, let's embrace sideline examination techniques that provide clearer, more precise results. So, clinicians, let's make a commitment to leave the tuning forks behind and embrace evidence guided methods to diagnosis fracture. Our patients deserve nothing less than the best care possible. #ModernMedicine #PatientCare #NoMoreTuningForks 🏥💡
