Our most vocal users at my previous HealthTech startup demanded more customization options for our patient monitoring dashboard. But diving deeper, we discovered a surprising truth: 89% of our successful customers never touched these settings. The real breakthrough? We simplified instead of adding features. "Tech is the enabler, not the core value!" Essentially, it's not about how complicated the tech is under the hood; it's about how easily users can grasp its value. 👩💻 Consider this: you have a super advanced tech gadget. Behind the scenes, there's some serious tech wizardry 🪄 happening, but the real win is when users find it simple and straightforward to use. In an ideal world the product value would be demonstrated through the user experience and the product could stand for itself #productledgrowth. Often, reality hits different: If the technological component can’t effectively demonstrate its value to the user, which typically occurs when building a product as a pain reliever rather than a gain creator (such as security features that prevent negative events, which users may not fully grasp in the best cases), the importance of value-oriented messaging becomes even more significant. 💡So, the takeaway? Instead of getting lost in tech jargon, let's focus on translating complexity into a user-friendly experience. As Product people, tech advocates and client reps our job is to demystify the tech talk and ensure that the core value of our products is crystal clear for users. Think about it this way - technology is a powerful tool, and our role is to make it work seamlessly for everyone. Here's to keeping it straightforward and valuable! 💬#ProductManagement #TechSales #gotomarket #UserValue

The game of hidden costs is so strong that I have seen many business owners getting trapped in it. Think post-development support is an expense? Wait until the hidden costs surprise you! Many #techinvestors and #innovators believe their journey ends once a product is launched, which they don't know can lead to costly issues down the line. Whereas, unfortunately, I have seen only a few tech experts highlighting its importance. To address this gap, my strategy is to give clients a limited-time free assistance option as a gesture. This allows them to directly experience the benefits of post-development support and understand its role in delivering an improved user experience. I want to know how other tech leaders are tackling this gap in awareness. What actions are you all taking to contribute? #ProductMaintenance #PostLaunchCare #TechSupport #ClientCare #SoftwareUpdates #LongTermSuccess #TechStrategy #ProductReliability

The Tale of Misalignment ! Once upon a time in the bustling kingdom of Techlandia, there was a renowned product engineering team known as Innovators Inc. They prided themselves on creating cutting-edge gadgets that dazzled the market. However, as they embarked on their latest quest, a shadow began to loom over their success. The team was so engrossed in adding the latest features—glowing screens, advanced algorithms, and sleek designs—that they lost sight of their true purpose: to serve their loyal customers. One day, a wise customer approached the team with a heartfelt plea. “We love your gadgets, but what we truly need is a product that solves our everyday problems, not just flashy features.” Despite customer's feedback, Innovators Inc. struggled to adapt. They continued down their path of innovation without addressing the core needs of their customers. The team often interacted with customers, but their enthusiasm for technology led them to misinterpret customer intent, focusing more on technical specs rather than the real-world challenges users faced. Over time, they watched as competitors who listened and evolved thrived, while their own products faded into obscurity. This misalignment led to their eventual downfall, a cautionary tale of ignoring the voice of the customer. Questions to Consider: Have you ever found yourself so focused on innovation that you lost touch with your customers’ needs? What strategies can teams implement to ensure they prioritize customer feedback during product development? How can organizations create a culture of listening to customers to align their efforts with actual user demands? What can be learned from companies that failed to adapt despite customer input? How can teams better interpret customer feedback without letting their technological enthusiasm cloud their understanding of true user intent? Join the conversation and share your thoughts below! #ProductEngineering #CustomerFeedback #UserExperience #Innovation #CustomerCentric #TechForGood #ProductDevelopment #BusinessChallenges #ListeningToCustomers #MarketAlignment
