What matters more: money or purpose? For a staggering amount of people, the answer is purpose. 9 out of 10 employees will trade money for meaning at work. For these employees, it’s not just about getting a paycheck. It’s about making a difference and doing work that has a positive impact. The key to employee engagement is not in lavish perks or hefty bonuses. It’s in providing a work environment that aligns with their personal values and allows them to contribute to a larger cause. Therefore, it's crucial for leaders to understand this shift and promote a company culture that values purpose over profit. Because in the end, a fulfilled employee isn't just a happier one, they're also more loyal, productive, and innovative. It's not just good for the employee, it's good for the company. #purpose #values #profit #employeeexperience #hr #humanresources #vision #mission #people #culture #busienss #strategy #hrstrategy #team #work #linkedin #linkedinconnections #aach

𝑳𝒆𝒕'𝒔 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆! Most HR employees outperform at pleasing management, and yet somehow always manage to disappoint employees. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧? Despite being employees themselves, HRs act like they're working for the management, and not the employees. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭? Employees often sense that their role amounts to nothing more than organizing Fun Fridays. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝? I don't know who needs to hear this, but here are some valuable lessons that employment has taught me: - HR is there to protect the company, not you. - Document everything. - Food should not be used as a reward for hard work. - Doing more than the bare minimum can lead to being rewarded with MORE work. - Use your sick/vacation time. - Everyone is replaceable. - Keep those emails. Remember, these lessons can help you navigate corporate culture and improve your employee experience. What's the biggest lesson that employment has taught you? As an employee, I often see posts advocating for *ideal* employee treatment—higher salaries, endless perks, and extensive time off. While it’s important to value and support employees, we also need to be realistic. In my opinion, companies should focus on a balance. It’s not just about giving employees everything they want, but about ensuring the business remains strong and sustainable. Motivating employees is essential, but businesses shouldn’t overextend resources in ways that don’t directly benefit both the company and the team. This is just my personal perspective: companies need to strike the right balance between employee satisfaction and business goals. #EmployeeSatisfaction #BusinessSustainability #BalancedApproach #PersonalView #RealTalk

Absolutely agree. True employee value lies in fostering a culture of growth, learning, and genuine connection. It's about empowering individuals to thrive, not just providing perks. 🌱💼 #EmployeeValue #WorkCulture
Valuing employees is overrated. It's 2024 and globally there is a noticeable stance from our newer generation to "feel" valued. So how do we value employees? Do we have a pizza on Fridays? Or do we promote Work-Life Balance? Do we triple responsibilities with a new title and once-off bonus? Or do we invest in individual PDPs with salary raises to match the growth achieved? In my role, I see valuing employees as more than any of the above. It's to create an environment that gives them the freedom to make mistakes without fear of reprisal, and grow and learn from their experiences. It’s building solid connections with the people you spend 80% of your day with; to not only see them as a constant deliverable, but as valuable individuals. What do you think? #hr #hrtips #culturematters #employeeengaement #employeerecognition #employee

Being an HR is not easy! Stuck between employees concerns and the core team's expectations, you're constantly juggling from one issue to the next. Listening to everyone and trying to find middle ground... Let's be honest, it can suck sometimes. But hey, someone’s gotta do it, right? Also, It’s time for others to recognize the daily challenges and concerns HR face - because it’s more than just policies and paperwork. It’s about people, emotions, and constant problem-solving. #HRStruggles #JugglingItAll #EmployeeVsManagement #HRLife #CorporateChallenges #UnderstandHR #HRRealTalk #WorkplaceBalance #HRBehindTheScenes
