Three take-aways from Robert Kennedy Jr’s powerful pro-Artsakh stand: 1) RFK Jr’s principled position - in the wake of Vivek Ramaswamy’s strong pro-Artsakh messaging - meaningfully elevates the place of Armenian issues upon the national electoral stage - a potent (potentially election altering) challenge to Joe Biden and Donald Trump (both guilty of arming genocidal Azerbaijan and abandoning democratic Artsakh). 2) There is a growing appreciation among top electoral strategists for both the political potency of Armenian issues and the potentially pivotal role of Armenian American votes in a closely contested 2024 presidential race. 3) RFK Jr’s (independent) appeal to nearly two million Armenian Americans takes place in the context of our community’s profound dissatisfaction – decades in the making – with the relentless lies and anti-Armenian betrayals of the foreign policy establishments of Democratic and Republican administrations.

As we approach the upcoming 2024 election, it is imperative that we uphold the solemnity and historical significance of events like D-Day, which marked a pivotal moment in human history. Recent remarks by Hillary Clinton drawing comparisons between the sacrifices made on D-Day and the electoral process are not only insensitive but also deeply inappropriate. D-Day stands as a symbol of unparalleled bravery and sacrifice, where Allied forces stormed the beaches of Normandy to combat tyranny and preserve freedom. The valor displayed by those who fought and died on that fateful day transcends politics and serves as a timeless testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. To equate such a monumental event with the electoral process diminishes the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for a cause greater than themselves. It trivializes the magnitude of D-Day and cheapens the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the ideals we hold dear. As citizens, it is our responsibility to honor the legacy of D-Day by engaging in the electoral process with reverence and respect for its significance. We must reject any attempts to exploit historical events for political gain and instead focus on upholding the principles of democracy that were fought for on the beaches of Normandy and countless other battlefields throughout history. In this pivotal moment in our nation's history, let us remember the lessons of the past and strive to conduct ourselves with the dignity and integrity befitting the sacrifices of those who came before us. Anything less would be a disservice to their memory and a betrayal of the values they fought so valiantly to defend.

"American Insanity" addresses how the Washington politicians and bureaucracy have ceased to represent the people and now represent their own selfish interests. It speaks to how newly elected officials go to Washington with honorable intentions but are soon consumed by greed for wealth and power and how this greed is destroying the heritage, culture and the very fabric of our constitutional republic. "American Insanity" further addresses how "We The People" have become so apathetic towards the governing of our Nation that, on average, 30% of registered voters do not vote in presidential elections and far more fail to vote in mid-term elections. All of which are rapidly propelling our constitutional republic to suicide as a sovereign Nation. "American Insanity" presents not only the critical issues at play in our Nation, but presents the only solutions which can save our Constitutional Republic, our heritage, and our culture.

The general election day is an important opportunity for all of us to fulfil our civic duty by participating and casting our votes. This occurs once every five years and allows us to elect our representative in the House of Commons. It's also a chance for us to assess the performance of the current government and express our approval or disapproval by selecting or rejecting them. It is essential to make an informed decision rather than blindly supporting a political party in order to fortify our democracy. We called this moment in some detail in the book, minus the MK Party factor which was not in the picture, so very proud of that. It is a sobering moment, Prof. We are now down to one of two scenarios: The Good - ANC pivots to the centre with a coalition to protect the constitution and bring about reform and growth - and the Bad - the ANC pivots to the populist left with economic chaos and constitutional delinquency. Did you know the first presidential debate was in 1960? While senatorial debates and primary debates had occurred prior, the 1960 election was the first presidential debates between party nominees. The televised debate took place on September 26, 1960, between then-Senator John F. Kennedy and Vice President Richard Nixon. With an estimated 72 million viewers, the debate highlighted the importance of image and public speaking during political campaigns in the new television age. The debate also set the stage for future media-driven elections and underscored the impact of television on politics.
