CICONIX Wins Two Prime OASIS+ Awards ANNAPOLIS, Md., Jan. 8, 2025 – CICONIX is pleased to announce the award of a prime position on the General Services Administration’s Multi-Agency Contract (MAC) OASIS+ Total Small Business (SB) and a prime position on OASIS+ SBA-Certified 8(a) Small Business. Under the contract’s Management and Advisory Domain, OASIS+ includes a full range of management and consulting services that can improve a federal agency’s performance, aid its endeavors to meet mission goals, and provide operating advice and assistance on administrative and management issues. Marion Porter, CICONIX CEO, commented “As GSA continues to augment their acquisition process by utilizing IDIQ contracts which offer more flexibility, CICONIX is excited for the opportunity to deliver new and innovative solutions that can assist the government in streamlining operations.”

NAVFAC Office of Small Business Programs Fiscal Year 2024 Year in Review NAVFAC had an outstanding year due to the effort and dedication of our small business team, support of our leadership, outreach events, and execution by the acquisition team. A record $5.6 billion was awarded to small businesses which exceeded 16,600 small business transactions. We additionally had a record spend for HUBZone awards at $1.36 billion! NAVFAC OSBP exceeded four of the five socioeconomic small business goals and nearly achieved the fifth. NAVFAC had the highest small business spend amongst all major Navy buying activities and the highest small business spend for each socioeconomic category. Extensive outreach and networking by our Small Business Professionals across the enterprise enabled continued success and excellence in reaching small businesses, growing our Defense Industrial Base, and ensuring maximum practicable opportunity for small businesses. Highlights from this past year include but were not limited to: - SEBAC Award awarded to NAVFAC for Excellence in demonstrating commitment to small environmental business. - Vanguard Award awarded to the Department of the Navy with NAVFAC OSBP being integral to the Navy’s overall success in fostering small business participation in defense procurements. - NAVFAC EXWC - 1st ever DoD Mentor Protégé Program agreement. - NAVFAC Southwest - Annual Tribal Outreach Small Business Event at NAS Fallon, NV, with follow on award to Tribally owned small business through this outreach event. - NAVFAC Hawaii - Government Procurement Industry Forum and NHOA Small Business Summit, enhancing our competitiveness and collaboration with industry partners to address the Pacific regions unique challenges. - NAVFAC Southeast and Mid-Atlantic - Southeast Region Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environment Summit that brought together more than 600 DoD and business representatives from throughout the Southeast region. - Considerable local outreach events supported by all our NAVFAC Small Business Professionals.
