We celebrate World Quantum Day on 4.14. because it relates to Planck’s Constant, a very important number in quantum mechanics. This week, I'll be talking with elementary students about quantum computing and the "spookiness" of quantum mechanics - hoping to spark curiosity in the next generation of computer scientists. #quantum #womenintech #stem

Next week will be presenting the paper 'Integrating Complex Adaptive Systems Theory with Whole-Systems Quantum Computing Approaches' accepted to the #IEEE #IEMCON conference, to take place at UC Berkeley. A core hypothesis is that quantum computation that leverages a whole-systems computational approach should be correspondingly closer to exhibiting #quantumsupremacy, just as a complex adaptive systems approach has proven superior in solving a range of complex problems that are unsolvable by linear approaches. The paper also highlights advanced Hamiltonian and quantum algorithm design, augmentation of CAS theory with whole-systems quantum computation, a new genre of machine learning techniques built on CAS-based hybrid models, amongst other avenues, as important parts of future R&D. #complexitytheory #quantumcomputing
