Here's how far we've come: Jan 2021: Motorcycle concept ideation. Jul 2021: First prototype created. Oct 2021: Attron Automotive incorporated. Feb 2022: R&D began, pitching to investors. Aug 2022: Pivoted to motors and controllers, collaborating with OEMs. Jan 2023: Secured ₹4.75 CR in investment, expanding discussions with OEMs. Jun 2023: Set up our state-of-the-art prototyping facility. Feb 2024: Launched products at Bharat Mobility Global Expo. May 2024: Received our first major order for 100 motors in agritech. Sep 2024: Established an assembly plant with a capacity of 2,000 units/month. Three years of pushing boundaries, driving innovation, and making strides in electric mobility. Tech Insider: Apollo Tyres Ltd and NATRAX - National Automotive Test Tracks to develop test track for #electricvehicle tires in India The new facility will enable #EV manufacturers to assess the cut and chip resistance of their tires.   Daniele Lorenzetti, chief technology officer at #Apollo Tyres, said, “This test track is uniquely designed to validate tyres in a consistent manner by mimicking real world conditions with split mu surfaces and gradients. Exploring the Heart of Innovation: My Journey at the Mahindra Thar Roxx Workshop I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Thar Roxx workshop at Mahindra Research Valley. This state-of-the-art facility is where innovation and technology collide, driving the development of vehicles like the Mahindra Thar Roxx. The highlight of the day was an engaging technical session that covered crash simulation, NVH ride and handling safety, and powertrain dynamics. The insights shared by Velusamy Ramasamy Sir, President of Automotive Technology and Product Development, and Dr. VIKRAMAN V the Engineering Head of Vehicle Mechanical Systems for Born EV and ICE platforms at Mahindra & Mahindra, were incredibly valuable. Their expertise, along with the knowledge shared by the all the officials, enriched my understanding of the complexities involved in vehicle development. After the session, we embarked on a tour of the state-of-the-art labs that few get to experience: the NVH lab, where the delicate balance of noise, vibration, and harshness is perfected; the VES lab, focusing on vehicle electronics systems; and the Fatigue Testing lab, where components undergo rigorous testing to ensure durability. The Powertrain Development Centre showcased how Mahindra fine-tunes its engines for optimal performance, while the EV Test Labs gave us a glimpse into the future of electric mobility. I sincerely thank Mahindra and Mahindra Limited [Automotive and Farm Equipment Business] and Motor Vikatan for this enlightening experience.
