𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗲𝘁𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲!! ✅ Last week, I shared tips on arranging items in a Row using Jetpack Compose. Today, it's time to focus on Columns in Jetpack Compose. Let's go to understand how to use the different arrangement modifiers to organize your composables in Columns. → 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: Distributes space equally, giving all items the same height. → 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻: Equal gaps between items, with no space at the top or bottom. → 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: Adds space around each item and shares it with the edges. → 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆: Distributes space evenly between items and edges, creating a balanced layout. → 𝗧𝗼𝗽: Aligns all items to the top of the column. → 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿: Centers all items vertically. Symmetry at its best. → 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺: Moves all items to the bottom of the column. Credits Gif: Android Developers official documentation. Remember back in the '90s when Magic Eye books were all the rage? 📚✨ Those optical illusions are called Stereograms, and when viewed correctly, they reveal a hidden 3D image or word. 🧐🔍 I never knew how to properly view stereograms until recently. Once I figured it out, I dove headfirst into the nostalgia, catching up on everything I missed in my childhood. 🌟 Using this newfound ability as my motivation, I teamed up with my pal Florenzo Bauer to create an app that allows you to design your own custom stereograms. 🖼️📲 Our app is still in the MVP stages, but we're excited to share what we’ve created with you soon. Stay tuned! 🚀 #softwareengineering #mobileapp #appdevelopment #reactdeveloper #sideproject #appdev #mobiledevelopment #softwaredeveloper #reactapp #codinglife

In Developer Relations, “developer zero” is one of the most overlooked patterns. If you’re building developer tools, you are the zeroth developer (yes, the one before the first). This means your own developers have the same characteristics of your customer persona (they’re developers too!) Give your teams the tools, processes, and culture they need to share their feedback, and you’ll end up building a great product. I made Developer Zero one key tenet for my team back at Twitter, and it has been one of the main drivers of both positive sentiment and adoption. Applying Developer Zero is not easy — most companies overlook the execution aspect of it. Vercel does it well (as many developers already know).
How we work at Vercel • Use your production site normally • Use the Vercel Toolbar to override a feature flag • Experience your app in would-be users' shoes • Share feedback as comments with the engineers

🔥 Days 2, 3 & 4 of the Design Challenge: Catching Up and Keeping the Game On! 🔥 Yes, I may have missed a day till now, but I’m back in the game stronger than ever! 😎 Here’s a recap of what I’ve been working on for coffeepass—a product designed for coffee lovers! ☕️ For this round of the challenge, I tackled: 1. Apple Wallet Card Design: Making it seamless and visually engaging for users to access their CoffeePass from anywhere. 📲 2. Hero Section: A bold, inviting hero section that captures CoffeePass’s vibe and mission right from the first glance. 🌟 3. Referral Section for Landing Page: Designed a section to engage and motivate users to refer friends and climb the ranks! 🎉 And yes, I created all three of these designs within a two-hour time span! ⏱️ Talk about pushing creative limits! Big thanks to the coffeepass team for the inspiration! Naman Chaudhry Horng Yang Tan I know the GIF may look a bit blurry, so if you’d like to see the designs in full detail, feel free to ping me anytime—I’m open to sharing! 😊 Also, shoutout to my cousin Tejasvi Arora — you’re not getting ahead that easily! Day 5 of #100Daysofcode Spent today working on making KyraStore's homepage fully responsive. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I’m happy to say it now looks great on both desktop and mobile! Here's a quick demo of the homepage on both desktop and mobile screens! I’d appreciate your feedback—how does the UI look so far? Any suggestions on improving the layout or design? Excited to continue building and learning along the way. #LearningJourney #EcommerceWebsite #CodingJourney

Ever wondered which Jetpack Compose arrangement is best to use? Well! You're not alone. I’ve been there too! Putting layouts aligned and spaced perfectly can be tricky, but Jetpack Compose makes it so much easier with its modifiers. These arrangements give you so much flexibility to create visually pleasing designs. Which one do you use the most? 👍Like and repost it if you find it useful, or comment for any related queries. #Android #jetpackcompose #kotlin #MobileDevelopment

When I first heard about the shift in Android UI design, I thought, "Oh no, there's already so much to learn!" Android is evolving so quickly, and here comes another big change. Working with #JetpackCompose and #Material3 has completely transformed the design process. It's a brand-new UI toolkit with some truly amazing capabilities under the hood. Getting started with something new is always challenging—you have to dig into the foundations—but with time and practice, the results speak for themselves. Here's a basic, adaptive login screen I created using Jetpack Compose with clean and simple components. Excited for what’s next—more to come! #Android #JetpackCompose #Material3
