Glad to see my network is more astute than the contractors in this image.   This is why the 50-pace rule is so important.   When you get to site, before any work begins, each walk 50 paces in different directions from the digging location whilst keeping a lookout for pipeline markers.   If you find one, stop work onsite immediately and report it to your supervisor or the pipeline operator (contact details can usually be found on the post).   Once the pipeline has been assessed, work can resume.   If you didn’t spot the pipeline marker, drop me a message to organise a safety presentation! #pipelinesafety #linewacth #pipelineawarenss #oilandgas #safetypresentation
