As a brain aneurysm survivor, I advocate for funding for awareness, research, and education about brain aneurysms. I was one of the 50% affected by a brain aneurysm who survived it, and I am one of the one third of those survivors who are not impacted by cognitive or physical challenges as a result of a ruptured brain aneurysm. Please take a moment to visit the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (BAF) website to learn more about the disease, and to learn about the work of the #BAF. Your donations fund this work. I'm a survivor today because of brain aneurysm research, and innovations in treatment and prevention. I had a two-step brain surgery to "sacrifice" my very large, and unusual aneurysm, in an uncommon location. My surgery was not common; my very experienced neurovascular surgeon had only seen, and operated on, five cases like mine. Thank God for the research done by the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. NO ONE should ever die as a result of a brain aneurysm. I live for that day and will do what I can to help reach that goal. If you have ANY questions about brain aneurysm, please, please, reach out to me. I'm here to help you.....it's a heck of a way to become an advocate. #BrainAneurysmSurvivor #BrainAneurysm #BrainSurgerySurvivor #1in50 #AwarenessMatters #StopThePop #Scan2Save
