11/13 #tuesdaymotivation HOW MONDAY WENT? Helped a retired Naval Officer in business from Jacksonville, FL. Mentored a retired, female, Navy Veteran in La Mesa, CA. Trained an active Sailor in Chula Vista who just earned his Life Insurance license prepare to ✍️ policies on top of all the other business that needed to be handled. This morning, Tuesday, 3:48 a.m. Virginia time I get a text from another Associate taking his state of Virginia Life and Health exam 11/18, this Saturday. He's so self-motivated it's inspiring! I guess you can say I still take of my people. Training a team of Independent Contractors is not only lucrative, it's rewarding when you can relate to all the struggles and victories of those you serve. I want more veterans to enjoy freedom of time, freedom of location, freedom of income. The financial services industry provides those freedoms to people that are coachable put the work in. We provide the proven system and there's no short cuts here. The price is due upfront and in person. There will be set backs. People will quit. Clients will change their mind, it's still all good. I was looking for a "THEME" for this week's post to highlight the recent conversations with several transitioning service members. Then I found the picture below that's taught at the 6th Grade level - it fits and it's powerful. Transitioning service members can identify with many of the words listed below as they navigate several passages in their journey to retirement or transition from the military. The THEME of the conversations recently has been - They didn't tell us that in TAP class. This includes the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, and Coast Guard versions. I hear this in the life insurance discussions I have with transitioning service members, what other areas are lacking in TAP classes? I've had the privilege to speak with many families in my new career. After our discussion, I hope they leave with the THEME of being educated about the process of obtaining life insurance. Armed with the information to best protect their family in the event of an untimely death. Naturally I would love to have earned their business but more importantly their trust, as them making the best decision for their family is the desired end state. Because at the end of the day, some of the words come to mind - fulfillment, family, knowledge, duty, patriotism, and FRIENDSHIP. Regardless of their decision - I've made a CONNECTION (should be added below)! I'm able to see their successes on this platform and hopefully added value to their lives as well.
