U.S. cathode manufacturing is set to grow 5x by 2030. 📈 This is absolutely critical as we work to strengthen our domestic battery #SupplyChain and reduce reliance on foreign sources. But this can't happen in a vacuum - as manufacturing picks up, we MUST boost our dependence on recycled #CriticalMinerals. Yesterday we had the honor of welcoming the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to tour our facility in Lancaster, Ohio. As the first company to officially receive funding through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we were proud to showcase the progress we've made towards fortifying our domestic #BatterySupplyChain since that initial investment. Cirba Solutions is investing $400 million into our Lancaster campus expansion to bring critical material #sulfate production to the U.S., helping power 250k new #EV batteries annually, all while creating more than 100 new generational jobs.
