Here are some notable highlights: 📉 Decarbonization: Since 2019, we have reduced CO₂e emissions in our own operations by 60%, surpassing our 2025 target of 55%. 🤝 Empowering People: On average, each member of the Siemens community has dedicated 27 hours to digital learning and skill development, reflecting our commitment to continuous growth and innovation. ☘️ Siemens EcoTech Label: More than 25,000 of our products now carry the Siemens EcoTech label, a testament to their environmental performance. These products outshine market standards and predecessor products while offering valuable insights into their environmental footprint. 🌟 Customer Impact: For the first time, the emissions avoided by Siemens products and solutions sold in FY24 exceeded the total emissions generated across our entire value chain. These achievements underline Siemens’ impact in driving decarbonization, promoting ethical practices, and protecting the environment while fostering positive social outcomes. Here in Siemens Electrification and Automation, we have embedded sustainability into our strategy and ethos. As highlighted in our Sustainability Report, we continuously monitor and optimize our production processes to improve, among others, energy efficiency. 2023 was a pivotal year – we conducted an extensive energy audit that identified key opportunities to reduce energy consumption. As a result, we implemented strategic upgrades, including warehouse system improvements, equipment installations, lean principles and lighting optimization. We remain committed to shaping a more efficient and responsible future.
