Today is World Bioproduct Day. Created by the World BioEconomy Forum in 2021, this observance aims to raise public awareness about the important role of bio-based materials as an alternative to fossil-based ones in addressing climate and environmental crises. As we urgently transition toward a new circular, low-carbon development paradigm, bioproducts are taking center stage. The Navigator Company, recognizing this urgency, has invested in the development of sustainable, natural, recyclable, and biodegradable solutions sourced from forests to replace petrochemical-based options. One notable result of this efforts is the upcoming Bioshield range by the gKRAFT brand. These rigid molded cellulose packages and tableware, with barrier properties, will replace single-use plastics in the food sector. This is just one example of how the Company is harnessing the full potential of eucalyptus globulus for a new generation of bioproducts. #TheNavigatorCompany #bioeconomy #ForestBasedBioeconomy #R&D #BioproductDay

How to accelerate decarbonization? At the moment 2030 is still far away, but it comes faster than we think. The aim is to become NetZero in 2050 or around this magic date. A lot of brands made public sustainability pledges to reduce their GHG emissions already until 2030. However it is not easy to keep pace with all decarbonization targets. Also the change and implementation takes more time than expected. Giving these challenges, how it is possible to accelerate the reduction also in packaging solutions? With our long experience of sustainable products for packaging solutions and I'm green biobased Polyethylene, we can help. #biobased #Braskem #CircularEconomy #IamGreenbiobased #carbonreduction
