Some great thoughts from our COO Mark Morek on his experience as an executive recruiting expert. At CiresiMorek we don’t just fill positions – we dive deep and understand what that role needs to fulfill business needs. This allows us to look beyond the resume and find candidates that can make an impact and drive the business forward within the existing culture. Why? Because we see potential where others see superficial issues. We dig deeper, we analyze smarter, and we have an uncanny knack for identifying the hidden gems that others overlook. Our track record speaks for itself. If you want the best, you need the best in your corner. #ExecutiveRecruiting #TalentAssessment #HiringExperts #CiresiMorek

LISTEN TO ME!   Over the years, I've noticed that many clients and candidates seek my advice but sometimes don't follow it, only to realize to their chagrin that they should have listened.   Recently, a client asked for my recommendation on an offer for a key leadership candidate. After months of searching, we identified a great fit and they asked for my input on the offer. I suggested a package that wasn't at the top of the pay range and matched the candidates expectations—a win-win for both parties.    However, the client decided to offer less than recommended to try and save money, against my advice. The candidate was turned off, and they declined. My customer quickly reconsidered and went with my original recommended offer, unfortunately it was too late the candidate was no longer interested.   In another instance, a candidate was interviewing with one of my clients, a larger organization known for its lengthy interview process. Meanwhile, another company quickly interviewed and offered him a job within days, demanding a prompt decision. I warned him about the unusually fast process, but he chose to accept the offer and go with the other organization. Three months later, he called back, regretting his decision and asking if the initial opportunity was still available. There is a fine balance between too fast and too slow.   Hindsight is always 20/20, but clients pay us, not only for our deep experience and vast network, but our unmatched expertise. Take advantage of my skills, abilities, and connections.   LISTEN TO ME!
