🎉 Wow, we've just surpassed 50 copies of "From Forming to Performing" sold! 📚 Crossing this milestone is a mix of excitement, humility, and, yes, a tiny bit of terror. But hey, we've officially moved beyond just my family and close friends—which means, contrary to popular belief, it’s not just my mom and dad buying all the copies (thanks anyway, Mom & Dad!). A massive shoutout to Keila, Adina, Matthew, & Dave for being some of the first to champion this adventure. It’s one thing for me to rave about the book, but having your support means the world to me—literally, it's everything. To everyone else who's curious about crafting high-performing teams—or those who just want to see if I can write more than emails—grab your copy on Amazon. Let's prove there’s life beyond the family bookshelf! 😄 #FromFormingToPerforming #BookLaunch #Leadership #TeamPerformance
Can't wait to dig into this! A huge shout out to Cary Bailey-Findley for such a huge accomplishment!

"The best luck of all is the luck you make for yourself." ~ Douglas Macarthur ~ Are some people just lucky? Do you consider yourself lucky or unlucky? Whether you consider yourself lucky or unlucky you are right either way. I am a big fan of the idea that we make our own luck. No we can’t create it out of then air or by magical thinking or even by picking a four-leaf clover, but there are plenty of things we can do to create our own luck. 🍀 Lucky people live in the present and seize the moment. They live in the present instead of worrying about the past or the future. 🍀 Lucky people believe in themselves. They trust their their inner wisdom. They let their feelings guide them. 🍀 Lucky people are willing to be themselves, their authentic self. 🍀 Lucky people work hard. They take action. They are action oriented and do what it takes to make their own luck. They have positive daily habits such as morning routines that include exercise, or mediation and prayer. They don’t over think things. They make a decision and do it. 🍀 Lucky people express gratitude and appreciation. They do not take the people or things in their lives for granted. They appreciate those who help and support them. They are also willing to share kind words with others. They surround themselves with other positive people. 🍀 Lucky people turn bad luck into good luck. They assess what has happened. They treat failures as an opportunity to learn and grow. They do not dwell on what has happened in a self-proclaimed pity party. They accept it, make a decision on what to do next and move forward. 🍀 Lucky people know what gives their life purpose and meaning. They have goals. They choose to have a great life and to support and empower others in having a great life. They are team players. 🍀 Lucky people are full of wonder, curiosity, and awe. They see others and the world as an amazing place. They expect good fortune and they make it happen. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!! Wishing each of you the luck of the Irish, today and always!! 💚🍀 #luck #lucky #goodluck #saintpatricksday

Many of us are supposedly in the 'top 1%', and I guess we could be called 'elites' -- born this way, or ambitiously self-made -- therefore as a global class we must be willing to be the most self-critical in the first instance, if any discussions arise about stemming social inequality. Many insecure people are actually eager to uphold a hierarchical society; e.g., anyone seeking status via 'costly signalling'/ heroic consumerism are doing just this (whether they are conscious of this, or not). But the paradox is, it's likely to be only the elites that will be able to engineer change. I believe it will be the people who have both been working people AND elite in their own lifetimes -- one and the same -- who will have the most both-ways empathy and governing intelligence, here.
Watch this!!! He articulated everything 100% on point. I love that Pelosi was present and had to hear all this while sitting literally about 10 feet away from the podium 😂 Who’s else is ready to get our country back already?!?! 🇺🇸💪🏼🇺🇸💪🏼

Patience and perseverance is grossly underestimated! Extremely smart and intelligent team members tend to loose the initial value they bring when they dont have these two qualities and averagely smart team members with little or no skills, but with a high level of patience, perseverance and commitment to growing tend to acquire all the skills and intelligence they need and become extremely valuable to a team over time! Patience and perseverance is grossly underestimated! Always better to Play the long term game!
Found this video and it made me want to share this reminder. There is no such thing as overnight success. Everyone you see thriving today has invested countless hours to hone their skills and sharpen their craft. Serena Williams won her first Grand Slam in 1999 after playing professionally for five years. If she had given up in her second year, she wouldn’t be the icon she is today. Play the long game.

Rarely the First, More Likely the 7th Typically, Winning Secrets appear on Monday's. Not this week. Why? Our oldest daughter had an outdoor wedding. I had the privilege of officiating the wedding; very cool. The weather cooperated, and the reception was a blast! But here's the Winning part.... During the ceremony, the couple shot a flaming arrow into a target prepped to burst into flames, igniting a bowl of lighter fluid atop the target stand. Epic! But not at first. It took 7 attempts, along with a fresh dousing of lighter fluid. When the target burst into flames, it was spectacular. The audience erupted into applause. I was so proud of the young couple's determination to make the unity event a success. Here's what struck me from that experience. Has any endeavor in your personal or professional life that was memorable, meaningful, or impactful succeeded on the very first attempt? Very rarely. And that's okay. It SHOULD require diligence and determination to be successful. It makes the achievement of greater worth, and those pulling for you will celebrate even more knowing what you overcame. One more thing.... There are ALWAYS people rooting for you to succeed, no matter what it feels like in the moment. They want you to be successful, and they're eager to celebrate with you. Share your Wins, of all sizes, and watch who celebrates with you, whether it be 1 person or 100 people. That's Winning More at Life - the Winners and those who celebrate with them. Be both!! #WinningSecrets #WinningMoreAtLife #WinWin #Celebrate #Determination #Diligence #AdaptAndOvercome #JohnDHanson
