We are thrilled to announce that the Charles H. Dater Foundation has generously awarded us a $60,000 grant for our CISE/Friar's Club After-school Study & Sports Program! Since 1995, the Charles H. Dater Foundation has been an incredible supporter of CISE, providing a safe haven for our scholars after school. They enjoy healthy snacks, finish homework, and participate in team sports—all thanks to this vital support. We are immensely grateful to the Charles H. Dater Foundation for making a lasting impact on our scholars' lives. Together, we are fostering brighter futures! 📚🏀 #Grateful #CISE #DaterFoundation

“Why Early Childhood Edcuation is the Key to future Success.” The foundation of lifelong learning is built in the early years. Research shows that children who experience high-quality early education develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence. It’s ot just about teaching letters and numbers to these children, it’s about nurturing curiosity, fostering creativity, and building the confidence to take on challenges. By investing in these children, we’re shaping the future leaders and innovators of tomorrow. 🌐 Post 6 - Discovering Impact Series: The Brotherhood of YDFs As I wrap up my Discovering Impact Series, it's only fitting to dedicate this final post to the incredible young men I had the honor of calling my colleagues and, more importantly, my brothers. 🤝💼 This journey at the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives wouldn't have been the same without the other Young Development Fellows. They were instrumental in my integration and adjustment to a new, dynamic environment. Each one played a pivotal role, not just in my professional growth, but in creating a sense of belonging. 🌟 Our collective strength lay in our unity and mutual respect, forming a network so reliable that our chiefs and members often counted on us to expedite work, cutting through the red tape with efficiency and trust. 🚀 Not everyone could make it into this picture—some have moved to new cities or even countries, chasing the opportunities they so richly deserve. Yet, the brotherhood we've built is unbreakable, transcending distance and time. Our gatherings, whether planned or spontaneous, are always fun, enlightening, and filled with respect and mutual understanding. 🌍 Finding such a bond is rare in life and even rarer in professional settings. While I wish I could thank each one individually for their impact on my growth, know that my gratitude knows no bounds. To all my YDF brothers, thank you for making this experience unforgettable. 🙏 #YoungDevelopmentFellow #DiscoveringImpact #Brotherhood #ProfessionalGrowth

New Year, New Cheer for ACF! Community. 🏘️ ~ Empowering Our Community Through Volunteering ~ Our Applied Computing Foundation 2024 mantra is "Impactful Outreach," and we gladly kickstarted our first week of 2024 through a golden networking opportunity for our ACF teen founders at the global 1517 Fund Ice Cream Social on Jan. 4. 👏 Volunteer. Impact. Honor. 👏 In 2024, ACF allows you to volunteer for causes dear to your heart and get certified for hours towards the “Congressional Award” and “Presidential Award” within the United States. Our previous exemplary student interns have been awarded for their invaluable and positive contribution towards community empowerment in STEM. The beauty of volunteering is that it can enrich not just our students but also their peers, siblings, guardians, teachers, mentors, club leaders, families, and groups. The “Presidential Award” rewards all age and community groups based on service benchmarks. Help Spread the Word! Our volunteering opportunities are one of the most integral and impactful facets to help fulfill our ambitious 2024 wishlist! ACF provides a rewarding experience for all volunteers through autonomy, personal growth, leadership, creativity, and real-time impact. https://lnkd.in/gF4dC8Gh . . . . #team #technology #community #experience #science #acf #appliedcomputing #appliedcomputingfoundation #sustainability #innovation #genz #changemakers #coding #education #learnbuildapply #learn #build #apply #ethicalinnovation #entrepreneurship #teenentrepreneurship #entrepreneurs #collaboration #leadership #startup #impact #startupcommunity #startupecosystem #volunteering
