That moment marked a significant commitment to recognizing and supporting the invaluable contributions of MSMEs worldwide and was led by the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) In Dubai, this year's theme focuses on local supply chains, which aligns perfectly with our ongoing projects and strategic plans. As we work to enhance and fortify local supply chains via public procurement policies and partnerships with private sector corporates, we are dedicated to ensuring that MSMEs have the resources and opportunities to thrive. As ClimateLaunchpad Morocco Lead, after four years of tirelessly working to set up the cleantech agenda in Morocco, I am incredibly proud to share the significant strides we’ve made this year in building a new generation of entrepreneurs with impact. Innovate UK Opens Application for NextGen Space Challenge 2024 Innovate UK Global Alliance Africa has launched the 2024 NextGen Space Challenge, a key initiative under the UK-Africa pace Technology for Sustainability Global Innovation Network. This challenge seeks to discover the next generation of space technology entrepreneurs from the UK, South Africa, Kenya, and Rwanda as Africa's role in the global space industry grows. The challenge aims to encourage innovators working with space technology to advance sectors such as environmental monitoring, water security, and food security. Successful participants will gain access to global industry opportunities and mentorship to further develop their business ideas and contribute to sustainability efforts. Five finalists from each participating country will join a global incubation programme and pitch their ideas to international industry leaders. The top three winners will receive innovation awards of up to GBP 1 K. The initiative is open to individuals or teams aged 21-35 or recent graduates, with applications closing on 24 November 2024. This strategic initiative seeks to foster international collaboration in sustainable space technology.
