We hire mentors, not administrators. Less time on paperwork, more time on purpose-work. How we 3x our time spent with the people we support. Last week I had the privilege of speaking at Salesforce’s world tour on behalf of Conga. I shared how we get rid of paperwork by automating so much of the document production process to create items essential to our team, our commissioners and our candidates. At the click of a button we can now produce action plans, end of project reports and huge spreadsheets showing contract performance data. The upfront investment in cost and knowledge can be daunting but the returns for colleague motivation, candidate engagement and less admin errors have been invaluable. If you’re a social service or enterprise and want some advice on ditching that excel spreadsheet, let me know below 👇

A common pitfall I'm seeing with growing companies: hiring junior admins as their only CRM resource to save costs. Here's the reality - while junior admins can be talented and eager to learn, they need to understand not just how to create a field or flow, but how today's decisions will impact your business 2-3 years down the line. Even if you don't have the budget for a tenured hire, you should allocate some funds to hire an outside resource who can guide this junior hire. Your admin needs to be empowered to: - Push back on requests that could harm system integrity - Challenge "that's how we've always done it" thinking - Have a seat at the strategy table - Say "no" to quick fixes that create technical debt - Guide leadership on CRM governance and roadmap An experienced admin/architect will: - Design data models that can flex as your business evolves - Implement automation that won't break under volume - Build governance frameworks to keep your org clean - Anticipate integration needs before they become urgent - Avoid technical debt that will cost you 10x more to fix later Yes, experienced talent costs more upfront. But the cost of rebuilding a poorly architected CRM system while your business is scaling? That's the real expense you should worry about. Don't set your first admin hire up for failure. Give them the experience, authority, and leadership support they need to succeed. Invest in experience early. Your admin hire will thank you, and your future team will thank you. #Salesforce #CRM #TechStrategy #BusinessGrowth #SaaS #Leadership

🚀 Attention Salesforce AEs: Implementation is Only the Beginning! You're already advising your customers on implementation and recommending SI partners. But are you having conversations about what happens AFTER they're up and running? Whose responsibility is Salesforce from that point on? Someone's got to train users, keep up with releases, and answer day-to-day questions... ⚠ And if their plan is to pile Salesforce on someone else's (already full) plate, there's a good chance it won't get the TLC it needs. Salesforce recommends hiring a full-time, dedicated admin for orgs with more than 30 users. Smaller orgs with <30 users can thrive with a part-time admin or independent contractor who does work as-needed. Most of your revenue likely comes from your existing customers. If they don't have an admin (or you're not sure if they do), it might be time to start that conversation! #Salesforce #CustomerSuccess #SalesforceAdmin

The last 3 months have flown by (like the rest of the year) but we have just released our Q4 Salary and Rate Card for the UK Salesforce Market! We've seen contract PM rates drop very slightly once again, closing the gap on the 'range' paid for PM's at the moment. This year feels a little slower when it comes to decision making and I think that's had an impact on how many projects we've had kick off and therefore how many Project Managers are available in the market - which usually brings prices down. BA's seem to be commanding a slightly higher day rate and perm salary compared to earlier in the year, based on what we've found. If you are hiring, keeping an eye on the job market or just want to get an idea of what you should be being paid compared to current rates, get in touch and I'll get a copy of the card sent to you. ryan.eastwood@synapri.com #Salesforce #Salesforcejobs #Salesforcesalary #Salesforcecontract
