This survey from the American Psychological Association paints a concerning picture of American workplaces. Nearly 1 in 5 workers describe their workplace as toxic. Even more alarming, instances of workplace harassment have risen. Conducted online with 2,515 employed adults, the survey reveals significant disparities in experiences based on job type. Those in customer service roles reported higher instances of verbal abuse, while manual laborers faced physical violence more frequently. These findings underscore the critical need for organizations to foster safer, more supportive work environments. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g2P5233F #PsychosocialHazards #OEHS #WorkerSafety
