The Agora at Corinth Grand Opening was a night to remember! 🤩 We had so much fun this past Saturday night with Limelight Band, Le Freak and our entire community! Between axe throwing, Denton County Brewing Company, food trucks and vendors, the splash pad, and carnival rides, we can’t stop reliving this night. The fun doesn’t stop here! We have events planned for you, the whole family, and all your friends, all year long! Visit https://lnkd.in/gc6CA_fJ to learn more about all of the community events taking place at the Commons At Agora. 🥳

One of my favourite events of the year at Rakuten.ca. In today's fast-paced, technology-driven world, it's easy to get caught up in metrics, deadlines, and deliverables. But let's not forget the most crucial element of any successful organization: the people. Humanizing your team isn't just a nice-to-have; it's a must-have. Here's why: Boosts Morale and Engagement: When team members feel seen and valued as individuals, their motivation and engagement levels soar. They’re more likely to go the extra mile and contribute their best work. Fosters Innovation: A culture that celebrates diverse perspectives and encourages open communication leads to creative problem-solving and innovation. When people feel safe to express their ideas, magic happens. Builds Trust and Loyalty: Trust is the foundation of any strong team. By showing genuine care and empathy, leaders can build lasting relationships that withstand challenges and change. Enhances Collaboration: Humanized teams are more cohesive. When people understand and respect each other’s strengths and weaknesses, collaboration becomes seamless and more effective. Improves Well-being: A supportive and understanding work environment contributes to the overall well-being of team members. This not only reduces stress but also promotes a healthier work-life balance. Remember, at the heart of every successful project, every innovative idea, and every milestone achieved, are people. Let’s make sure we’re not just managing teams, but truly leading and humanizing them. #Leadership #TeamBuilding #HumanizeYourTeam #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeEngagement #EmpathyInLeadership
Yesterday, our team AND their families gathered at Earl Bales Park for what we like to call a Day-O-Fun! This annual event is one of our favourites of the year as we not only get to bond as a team, but we get to know their families as well.

Whether it's a wedding, a team building day, a corporate event, or a gala, there is a great temptation to enjoy the fun and beauty of an outdoor space to make your summer event memorable. With record heat forecast for this summer, there are things you can do to minimize the heat's impact. But those things change your event and add to your expenses. Check out this article from Bride's to learn more about all your options, including the best one, which might be moving your event indoors to a venue whose greenbelt perimeter and floor to ceiling windows give you the benefits of an outdoor event without the challenges. https://lnkd.in/g5RNFxwa Want to know more? 🍀💼 In the spirit of St. Patrick's Day coming up on March 17th, we at AAS are embracing the festive fun with a "Would You Rather: St. Paddy's Edition" game! Join the excitement and let's see how our professional community weighs in on these playful scenarios: 1️⃣ Would you rather not wear green on St Patrick’s Day and get pinched all day or wear green every day for the rest of your life? Make your choice - occasional discomfort or a lifetime commitment to a color? 2️⃣ Would you rather be mischievous like a leprechaun or magical like an elf? Are you the office prankster who loves a good laugh, or the enigmatic problem-solver with a touch of magic in your approach? 3️⃣ Would you rather be lucky for a year or have everything you touch turn into gold? A year of seamless success or the Midas touch - which power would propel your career to new heights? 🤔 Engage with your network, share your picks, and may the luck of the Irish be with you in your career and beyond! Use the hashtag #AASStPattysGame to keep the conversation going. Happy St. Patrick's Day! 🌈🥇

WA Tree Festival is back again for another year and here are our Top 3 reasons to get involved... 1 🍃 More trees = cooler suburbs After the sweltering summer we just had, this ones a no-brainer. Let's all learn a bit, plant a bit, and protect our local trees to give us some much needed shade into the future. Get a free tree 🌳 bit.ly/GimmeaFreebie 2 🍃 More of the right trees = better urban forest We are not going to do this one justice in a social post, but basically, more of the right trees in the right spots in the right amounts = good biodiversity (or something to that effect - definitely read this 🌳 bit.ly/UrbanForest101) 3 🍃 More trees improve your health and wellbeing This research study shows that "adults in leafy neighbourhoods have lower risk of developing psychological distress" 🌳 bit.ly/MoreTreeLessStress Best of all, connect with your local community during WA Tree Festival - we really are better together 💚

Don't join our social club for women business leaders. All we do is talk smut, get our b88bs out and grow your business to it's max potential.
Did you miss NETBURKING BINGO? Yes you read that correctly. Last Friday at both Horsham and Hove Chai and Chatter, we introduced a game of Netburking Bingo in celebration of IWD. *Netburking* according to the Co-Women official dictionary is defined as: networking events that are primarily attended by misogynistic men, often found making crass remarks and speaking at an unnecessary volume. But don't worry if you missed it, you can join us this Friday for another special bingo edition at Chai and Chatter Brighton. You'll groan as you hear true accounts of what women have had said to them at networking events, be glad you're at an event where you won't have to suffer that nonsense, and to boot you might walk away with a prize! What's all about? Chai and Chatter is super informal and a chance to have joyful and involved conversations about life, work and everything in between. No pitching, just friendly faces, a good old mingle with other business leaders and a nice relaxed venue to kick back in, starting off your weekend in the best way. Where and When: Friday 15th March 9:15am at Alcampo Lounge Brighton. How to book: Drop me a DM. See you there?
