In a recent interview with Adilstone Group, Kristi Kennebrew from Get Me Hired Kristi gave us her tips for standing out as a candidate. First, she highlighted the importance of tailoring your resume to the role you are applying for. Assess your fit for the basic requirements of the role and then customize your resume around that. Reaching out to someone with experience in that role can be a great boost as well. Second, taking the small-step of following up after submitting an application or attending your interview can help you stand out from other candidates. Check out more of our interview with Kristi at this month's newsletter! #personalrecruiting #candidatetips #jobseekingtips #resumetips #getmehired #recruitment #onlyadilstone

Are you in the hiring process with multiple companies? Good, keep it up! It means you have an attractive profile for the role. But if you are at a late stage with one company and just getting started with another, make sure to communicate it to your recruiter during the first interview. Why? Because we can speed up the process to give you a chance to reach the offer stage more or less at the same time so you don't end up with an expired offer.

"Tell me about yourself." 🤔 It's likely one of the first questions you'll hear in an interview. Here's how to answer it smoothly: Your Background: Give a quick snapshot of your education and previous roles, focusing on what's relevant to the job. Your Skills: Mention the skills you bring to the table that align well with the position. Your Goals: Share what you're looking for in your next job and why this particular role stood out to you. A little practice can help you nail your delivery! 🙌 #K2Staffing #JobInterview #CareerAdvice #FirstImpressions

A tip for hiring managers💡 Don't oversell your role in an interview! Yes, it is important to create a little bit of buzz around the opportunity but do it in an honest way. Overselling the role might secure you the candidate but I guarantee they won't stick around for long.

So we have a young lady coming onsite to interview with us in Dallas tomorrow, and today I texted her that I'm excited to meet her in person, and see if she has any questions before her final interview. She responded with a few sentences to convey her excitement with four, count 'em, four, exclamation marks. 1) Let the record state that I am pro-exclamation mark. 2) How cool is that?!? A candidate being that excited for an interview. This is what a good #candidateexperience will yield. Candidates that feel like you care and are more and more excited about the prospect of joining your company with each passing step. Which will ultimately help you land the candidates you want. Why wouldn't every company approach the candidate experience with that same level of care? Because not every company is like OBE. Because OBE is awesome. The end :) #nowhiring #OBE #recruiting #recruitinglife #companyculture #interviewing
