We're excited to announce the 2025 Iowa Thriving Communities designation for communities that are going above and beyond to leverage innovative methods to attract housing opportunities for their workforce! The Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) introduced the Iowa Thriving Communities designation last year to elevate best practices and leverage innovative methods to attract housing opportunities! 👏 City of Council Bluffs City of Des Moines City of Fort Dodge City of Mason City City of Newton, Iowa City of Waterloo Iowa These newly designated communities are joined by the following 2024 Iowa Thriving Communities which were granted extensions to encourage additional development: City of Charles City Iowa, Creston, City of Knoxville, Iowa, Manning, City of Muscatine, Stanton and City of West Des Moines.
