I review 100s of CVs for data science roles each week. Here are the top 3 things candidates NEED to include (but often forget): 3 - Data 🧑🏽💻 It's in the job title…literally, right there! It's no good telling the person hiring about the skills you have if you can't back it up with cold, hard data. 2 - A clear summary of your most recent role 💎 Don't assume just because you have a software or skills listed in a previous role, they'll assume you're still using it now. Many recruiters want data scientists with recent experience in XYZ. Make sure they know you have it. 1 - Role specific info 💡 Whoever happens to be looking at your CV is looking to see how well you meet the criteria of the job description. Make sure you hit every point you can relevant to that specific job. Generic CVs don't cut it anymore!
