Pricing is a crucial aspect for creative business owners, and it's something that many of us struggle with. As passionate creators, we often want everyone to be able to afford our goods and services. However, it's important to remember that we are running businesses, not hobbies. Finding the right pricing strategy is vital for capturing our ideal clients. It's a delicate balance - if our prices are too high, we might alienate potential clients; if they're too low, we might not attract our ideal clients either. Knowing our value and what we need to sustain our businesses is key. Although it can be daunting to raise prices, it often leads to more business, not less. It's important to consider the value we bring and not undervalue our services. I've found that setting my prices slightly above the comfort zone of my ideal clients encourages them to truly value the services I provide. It motivates them to put in the effort to make our collaboration a success. It's crucial to run a profitable business, and that means pricing our services accordingly. So, let's start by valuing ourselves and what we bring to our clients, and let that show up in our pricing.
