Here are some indicators that someone contacting you might be a scammer: 👉 Requests for personal financial details. 👉Requests for payment to be considered for a job. 👉 Offers that guarantee employment or income. 👉 Poor spelling or grammar in communications. 👉 A lack of verifiable information or activity on the person’s profile. 👉 No image or a suspicious profile image on social media such as LinkedIn. Scammers are also using platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or Telegram to impersonate recruitment consultants.
