    Last week, the City of Worcester celebrated the completion of Phase I and II updates to Mulcahy Field. These updates included a new basketball court, a playground, and a renovated little league field. We’re excited to continue our efforts to create vibrant recreational spaces throughout the city.

    The City of Worcester announced its latest American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant awards from the Cultural Organization Grant Program. The municipality established the program to assist nonprofit organizations in the arts and culture sector in recovering from the negative economic impacts of the pandemic. Applications from eligible organizations were accepted earlier this year. Applications were evaluated by City of Worcester staff and members of the ARPA Creative Economy Committee based on established criteria centered on the negative and disproportionate impacts of the pandemic. The total funding allocated to the program in the City of Worcester’s ARPA budget was $2,950,000. To learn more visit: https://lnkd.in/ev5HVFaP
