Jonathan Handford, managing director of Fine & Country Leamington Spa has today been quoted in the news on the danger of pricing your home too high. He comments, 'If you aren't securing physical viewings, then it's more than likely that you have a problem with your agent or the price.' 'If the agent can demonstrate an extensive list of marketing activities that haven't produced prospective purchasers, then it is likely to be the price.  'It's best to avoid tiny incremental realignments that have little impact. I'd recommend reducing it by at least 5 to 10 per cent depending on the initial pricing. 'The longer a home goes stale, the more aggressive the price cut needs to be to re-capture attention.'
