🌟BIG NEWS, Victoria and Crossroads Community! A robotics team from Victoria Independent School District just bagged a win that's nothing short of inspiring! 🤖 They're now one of the 80 teams headed to the State competition in Houston next month! 💰 But they need $3k for a basic CNC machine to take their skills to the next level. 🛠️ They have students who can do CNC work but they need to be able to have continued practice and develop other members in growing their skill set. 👉🏾 Friends in the Crossroads, these are skills that can keep these young people HERE in OUR community. I’m in the staffing and recruiting industry and I can tell you there is a shortage of CNC operators. We have a chance to build a pipeline so let’s come out and support these students. 🫶🏾 If you are a company or business that has CNC employees, please consider supporting this project. The next generation Structures range from TecQuipment is compact, robust and offers a clear demonstration of experiments. It builds on the tried and tested modular technology but is easier to set up and use, taking performance to the next level. Winner Winner chicken dinner..... During engineering days participated in robotics workshop and then took that basic Robo to inter college robo soccer event. Just to explore the event but after some Matches we were in the game. we were a team of 3. 1. Coach :- who was instructing and analysing the opponents move. 2 . Robo operator :- who was operating with joy stick 3. co op:- Taking care of electric supply and other techn things. We turned as a winner and secured first prize of 10000/- it was first ever event in which 3 newbe of second year engineering secured prize in inter college. During Engineering it was my first experience of team management pressure handling and strategic planning. #teammanagement #engineering #thoughtfortheday

Sometimes failure is the best way to learn something new. I did a whole lot of learning working on Tippyswerve. This was a project I started in 2022 to learn how to program robotic systems and to stress my design skills a bit. The idea was a balancing robot that used a coaxial swerve drive module to align the single drive wheel towards the tilt vector and actively balance using PID. I was never able to achieve system stability, but I have a few ideas for a v2 I’d like to work on this summer. Ideally I can improve: - Drive stability (switch to FOC brushless motors) - Control accuracy (switch to derived LQR feedback control) Here’s a video of the v1 robot balancing stably for a whole second!!
