Hi, I'm Neil, a human resources intern here at City National Bank. If this is your first time watching our summer intern series, welcome. I'm excited for you to meet one of our marketing interns. Hi, my name is Joanna. I'm a marketing intern here at TMB. I go to Florida State University where I'm studying marketing. Tell us about your experience here at City National Bank. I've been learning how to use platforms that I've heard about at school, but I never thought I would be able to use them hands on. I'm currently working on analysis of how emails are performing and eventually I'll be able to learn how to code. A piece of advice I have for interns coming next summer is to be willing to try new things as a marketing enter. I never thought I would be doing anything with coding, but with the right people around me, I've been able to learn a lot. What's next after this internship? After my internship, I'm going back to school for my last year, and then after that, I'm going to be starting my job search. So I'm excited to apply everything I've learned here at CNBC and I'm very excited for the future. Stay tuned from our intern spotlights. In the meantime, if you're interested in any careers with City National Bank, please visit. Careers.citynational.com. See you next time.

🌟 What an incredible Intern Team Building Day we had at Crabbe yesterday for our 2024 Government of Jersey Internship Programme!🌟
A huge thank you to Gemma McGregor the Jersey Youth Service, our wonderful colleagues at CYPES, and my amazing colleagues in the Talent Team for making this event such a success.
The group of 41 interns who attended learned a range of invaluable skills, including:
Effective Communication: Understanding the importance of clear and concise communication in a team setting.
Problem-Solving: Developing creative solutions to overcome challenges.
Teamwork: Building trust and working collaboratively to achieve common goals.
Leadership: Taking initiative and guiding peers through various activities.
Adaptability: Adjusting to new situations and thinking on their feet.
It was awesome to see everyone working together across departments to produce this amazing event.
Grateful for the opportunity to bond, grow, and have fun together. Here’s to many more collaborative and enriching experiences ahead! 💪🤝✨
Many thanks to Gemma for producing this wonderful reel to sum up the day!

In the second entry of Deven's Summer Internship Series, let’s learn about Sargent Shriver, the father of #CommunityAction. Many have left an impact on Community Action, but few have left a legacy like Sargent Shriver!
We want to take a moment to recognize our 2024 US intern class and thank them for their dedication and excellence this summer. We are excited to have them with us and appreciate their ongoing contributions to the firm!
I just wanted to share a little bit about what I've been up to this summer and update you all on my internship as it comes to a close!
If you don't have 6 minutes to spare, I’ll give you the highlights:
1. It's not what you know, it's who you know. And not in the cliche generic way… it really is WHO you know that gets you where you need to be to show WHAT you know. Don't shy away from transactional professional relationships. That's really how people advance in business.
2. Put your yes on the table and leave it there. Someone is always watching, people notice attributes like willingness, tenacity, and work ethic. It really never goes unrewarded.
3. Ask “dumb” questions. Get all the information you need to do the job well, even if its intimidating. Even if you've asked that question twice already. Ask.

Did you see “The Intern” with Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro? It came out in 2015.
Companies should offer adult, paid apprenticeships / internships…not for retired folks (although it’s not a bad idea) but for adults who want a career change.
People could get retrained in a new skill without having to pay to go back to school (or for expensive certifications).
Companies would get experienced workers and would be able to fill hard to fill jobs.
What do you think?

I ABSOLUTELY SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY.
I CAN UNDERSTAND WHY THE INFANT DEMOCRATIC-CAPITALISTIC MINDS OF TODAY BLAME THE USA GOVERNMENT. THAT SAID THEN IS ANY GOVERNMENT TO BE BLAMED FOR THE HOMELESS PROBLEMS PLAGUING THE WORLD.?... NO. GOD KNOWS ALL THE HEADACHES USA GOVERNMENT HAVE WITH THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS. THE NEW WORLD IS PRACTICALLY A SHOCK TO WITNESS. PEOPLE "ONLY WORKING" TOGETHER FOR A COMMON GOAL... "IN THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." THUS DOESN'T THAT ALSO INCLUDE THE HOMELESS. THE HOMELESS ARE OUT THERE...
ARE YOU.?
HOMELESS A OPPORTUNITY MISUNDERSTOOD.....
The modern economic system is a market economy, which is a capitalist economy where people, not the government--NOT THE GOVERNMENT--own most businesses. In a capitalist economy, prices allocate capital and labor between competing uses, and capital assets like factories, mines, and railroads can be privately owned and controlled.
https://lnkd.in/eB98Jnv9 GOOGLE.
EXAMPLE, IF YOU NEED TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANY REASON OR MORE SO LETS SAY THE "HOMELESS" PROBLEM WHICH IS BELIEVED TO BE TIME & MONEY CONSUMING BUT IN ONE DIRECTION TOWARD THE HOMELESS.
HOWEVER CRYPTOCURRENCY CAN POSSIBLE ALLOWS AN EXPENDITURE OF CURRENCY TO BENEFIT ALL WHO USES THE CRYPTO & REGARDLESS OF HOW IT'S CONSUMED.
THEREFORE IF A CRYPTO "HOMELESS" CURRENCY EXISTED IT'S MORE HIGHLY LIKELY THAT THE HOMELESS PROBLEM CAN BE VANQUISHED BECAUSE CURRENCY-FINANCES IT'S ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO BE TAPPED INTO FOR HOMELESS RESOLUTIONS.
