Proactivity beats reactivity every time in security. The police by definition are reactive. Now that’s not to say they don’t conduct patrols, they do. They’re also juggling staffing issues, call queues, additional duties, the list goes on. You can’t rely solely on law enforcement, you need to take steps to do the following: “Deter, detect, deny, delay”. Applying these principles is the answer. How do you accomplish this? It doesn’t always have to be expensive. But the first step is an assessment of your current security. Alarms are one piece of a complicated pie. Be safe out there, Ryan #homesecurity #nj #hnw #uhnw

From violence and theft to fraud and cybercrimes, the nature of criminal activity is varied and pervasive. But the good news is that there are ways to mitigate these crimes and be a part of the solution. One way to combat crimes is through proactive measures such as increasing security measures, educating the public about potential risks, and fostering collaboration between law enforcement agencies. By uncovering the truth, gathering evidence, and bringing criminals to justice, investigators play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our society. ANY IDEA how many Security Officers are killed in the line-of-duty? DID YOU KNOW that the numbers often surpass Police fatalities? DID YOU KNOW that Security Officers are often the ACTUAL "first responders" in the occurrences of chaos? DID YOU KNOW that public support of fallen Security Officers is almost nonexistent? . PROMOTE THE PURPLE LINE! . These Officers deserve just as much respect as any other first responder. Private Security is a function that predates law enforcement, dating back to Biblical reference and before - the "gatekeepers," the "watchmen," and more. . See a Security Officer, encourage that Security Officer. They put their lives on the line for pay that is often times less than that of a fast-food server. #security #securityofficer #securityservice #officerdown
