One of my favorite parts of my role is hiring. I learn so much from the candidates I speak with. While interviewing and reviewing resumes can be an absolute time suck, I try to approach interviewing in a way that's beneficial for everyone. I love that when you first post a role, you have an idea of the archetype that you want to fill it. And then you get candidates that completely change your assumptions. It's one of the reasons that I place so much value on people over technology. They'll always surprise you.
