Please join us in (officially) welcoming Joseph Summers to the City of Ventura! Joseph joins the City Manager’s Office as an Office Assistant II. In this role, he will support various functions, including providing administrative assistance to executive-level staff and elected officials. Joseph started with the City in 2023, working in an interim role where he provided exceptional customer service to the public. Before joining the City, he worked as a Program Manager for the Diversity Collective VC and earned an LGBTQ cultural competency training and certification (RISE) from the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Joseph is actively involved in the Ventura community and volunteers for various non-profits in his free time. Welcome, Joseph! Join our team!
