When installing EV chargers, it's crucial to ensure each charger is connected to its own independent circuit breaker. A circuit breaker is a safety device that automatically stops the flow of electricity if it detects an overload. This setup enhances both reliability and safety by preventing issues with one charger from affecting others, making it easier to troubleshoot and perform maintenance when needed. Investing in the right infrastructure upfront helps ensure longevity, safety, and local code compliance. The good news for U.S. #EV owners — The number of public #EVcharging ports has doubled in the last three years to more than 175,000 as of April. The not-so-good news — A new study conducted by ChargerHelp!, an EV equipment company that provides charging station repairs and maintenance, found that 26.3% of test charges failed. Actual uptime averages were about 84%—lower than the 92% that stations report. #CleanEnergy #Decarbonization Read more in this Tech Brew article - https://bit.ly/3X2Ur7U

EV Charger Uptime: It's Not Just a Number! Did you know that EV charger uptime is strictly regulated? Charging stations receiving government funding (like those from the NEVI program) must maintain a 97% uptime! Failing to meet this standard can result in serious consequences, including: Loss of funding Hefty fines Ineligibility for future grants But what doesn't count towards that 97%? Things like vandalism, severe weather. And important note: Even planned maintenance is factored into the uptime calculation. This emphasizes the importance of minimizing unplanned downtime. Let's make sure our EV charging infrastructure is top-notch! #EVcharging #uptimematters #NEVI #electricvehicles

You need to answer 15 questions before your facility buys electric vehicle charging stations. #9: Do we need electrical upgrades for the charging stations? Offering on-site charging means you’ll be using more electricity. Before installing EV charging stations, save yourself headaches and delays by ensuring you have access to as much electricity as you need and confirming whether your wiring and electrical equipment can support the increased load. Ideally, your site’s electrical system can support the chargers you want to install today and has the capacity for future add-ons as more EVs hit the road. #electricvehiclecharging #electricvehiclechargingstations #electricvehiclechargingprojects

AC charging piles output alternating current with relatively low voltage and current, ensuring a stable charging process. The heat generated during charging is minimal, significantly reducing the risk of safety accidents caused by overheating. Moreover, AC charging piles are typically equipped with multiple safety protection devices such as over-current protection, over-voltage protection, and under-voltage protection, further enhancing the safety of the charging process. This makes AC chargers a reliable choice for electric vehicle charging, contributing to the growth and safety of the EV infrastructure. #ACCharging #ChargingSafety #EVTechnology

At this stage, we are considering how to charge faster, which is no problem, but we should also consider that many times because of space limitations can not install DC chargers. Consider our AC charger. Up to 22KWh. The cost is low, the maintenance is also low, and it does not take up too much space. They can also enjoy relevant government policies. The market of DC charging piles will not be blooming, and it will slowly become a few large companies to occupy the market. But don't ignore the potential of AC charging piles. After all, DC charging can not be installed where AC charging pile can be. Our company has mature AC charging pile solutions and products. Home grid connection or third-party business, even some areas with relatively backward infrastructure have mature solutions, if you need to contact me Email:Jackshu0316@qq/jack@szycli.com TEL:+86 15607245556 #EVcharger #ACcharging #Electricvehicle

🚗🔌 Optimizing Your EV Charging Experience: Why Cable Length Matters. Imagine arriving at a charging station only to find the cable tangled or damaged – not only inconvenient but dangerous. The length of a charging cable is more than just a technical detail; it directly impacts safety, efficiency, and costs. 🔸 Safety Concerns: Longer cables are more prone to wear and tear, especially in outdoor settings. They can easily get run over by vehicles, leading to damaged insulation and a higher risk of electric shocks. 🔸 Reduced Efficiency: According to Ohm’s Law, the longer the cable, the more resistance it generates, resulting in energy loss. This not only slows down the charging process but also wastes valuable electricity, converting it into unwanted heat. 🔸 Increased Maintenance Costs: Long cables require more frequent inspections and repairs, driving up maintenance costs over time. For public charging stations, cables should be long enough to accommodate different parking situations but shouldn’t exceed 5 meters to avoid tripping hazards and minimize damage. For home charging stations, a cable length of around 3 meters is ideal, as vehicles are usually parked closer to the charging point. In conclusion, the right cable length ensures a balance of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. A 3-meter cable is often the perfect solution, providing a smooth and safe charging experience for most scenarios. #EVCharging #NewEnergy #ElectricVehicles #ChargingTechnology #Sustainability #Efficiency #ChargingSolutions
