Each lunch also came with an Upfront Binge Watching Essentials Kit to help clients stay refreshed and energized throughout the busy Upfront season.

𝐈𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬: 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐞 – 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐭 📌The popular Latin American e-commerce site Mercado Libre conducted the “Handshake Hunt” promotion on Black Friday, 2023. 📌To make a splash in Brazil before Black Friday sales, Gut Sao Paulo developed the campaign. Instead of airing during commercial breaks, the plan was to include Mercado Libre bargains in Brazilian channel Globo’s programming. 📌Gut accomplished this by spotting impending handshake scenes in TV shows, which it considered “the sign of a good deal,” and by analysing the Mercado Libre logo. When individuals shook hands during the specified moments, the screen displayed a QR code that linked viewers directly to contextualised deals from the shop. 📌The commercial encouraged people to search for handshakes in their favourite TV shows. Anytime a handshake appeared on the screen, it flashed a QR code for a discount. 📌Boosting sales in Brazil was the goal of this fresh approach. The campaign used a variety of media channels, including product placement, outdoor, out-of-home, and sales promotions, to target the Brazilian online retail industry. 📌The campaign hit an all-time high. People started looking for handshakes in TV shows after seeing the promo. Happy New Year to you all, what a year it was for both Grenade and myself personally. Before we get into the full swing of 2024, I felt it was important to stop and think about 2023, both good and bad. It gives you a good perspective on how to improve to ensure you don't fall into poor patterns ignoring what needs a change, as well as doubling down on what's important to YOU. I truly believe that there is an improvement to be had in every aspect of your work and personal life, and as I look back at 2023 here are my three favourite Grenade highlights. The Grenade OREO bar was launched on Grenade.com driving the most traffic to Grenade.com to date at this point, and I'm sure in the years to come this will be looked at as a pivotal moment in the nutrition space, bridging a gap between two products and driving some truly insane numbers. What a pleasure it was to smash our launch goals out of the park, both commercially and operationally. Black Friday 2023, after a very strong 2022 Black Friday we set out to make the Grenade Heist the biggest and best Black Friday yet. After careful analysis of 2022 campaign core detail, we kicked off planning in July 2023 ensuring all plans drove improvement, operational capacity was in place and most importantly the site tech stack could facilitate the best possible customer experience. After 20+ revisions, a lot of patience and agility from the team we again smashed the campaign out of the park and achieved our entire H1 2022 in November 2023! With record traffic numbers to follow. Lastly, my highlight of the year. The E-commerce team, all of the achievements this year could not have been done without a shared vision, unity of goals and understanding of what is important to us both as a team and personally. The campaigns above were executed by a tight team with 100% ownership, and trust for each other's abilities. Massive props to Austen Crump, Charlie Sandall, Jack Levy and Andrew Irving. As you look to 2024, please stop and slow down your thinking for just a moment to appreciate your wins, losses, and set your own path. With a shared team vision and consistent attitude to refine, improve and strive for success, whatever that means to you, you can achieve what you want in 2024. We're loving this July 4th Coca Cola ad from 1978. 🥤 Nowadays, we talk a lot about how important it is to provide value for your customers at the heart of any piece of content you produce. What better way to provide value around July 4th than giving everyone 10 easy ways to up their hot dog game? 🇺🇸🌭 While the Coke bottle is front and center in the ad, the text that reads "11. Coca Cola" is strategically placed on the bottom written in a small font. It's like their saying, "What's most important is that you enjoy all of your fun July 4th traditions, but pair them with a Coke to make it even better."
