Good quality aggregates enhance concrete strength. 3) Quantity of cement: Cement provides binding properties in concrete. The correct proportion of cement affects the concrete’s strength and durability. 4) Water-Cement (W/C) ratio: The ratio of water to cement affects the workability and strength of concrete. An appropriate W/C ratio is critical for achieving desired strength.
