This is a direct result of doupoly being established in the aviation industry. The flight fares from Delhi are extremely high with Indigo and Vistara being the two primary carriers. Indigo was penalised with a fine of 1.2 crore for allowing individuals to stroll on the runway, while the passenger who had to stay locked in toilet received merely a refund. To comprehend the magnitude of the offence, it is imperative that we empathise with the passenger, who may endure the psychological repercussions of this traumatic event indefinitely. Indigo too has concealed their inadequate management behind the slapgate incident. The notion of the aviation industry, or any other sector, being open and competitive is merely a fallacy. In our current world, we are not governed by healthy competition, but rather at the mercy of a duopoly that has established dominance in practically every sector. #indigo #spicejet #vistara #duopoly #slapgate # https://lnkd.in/gR2WtRVc

Currently, Delhi Airport, the busiest airport in India, is grappling with a thick layer of fog, leading to numerous flight delays. Upon examining the situation, it becomes apparent that although Delhi Airport boasts four runways, only two, namely 29L/11R and 10/28, are CAT III equipped. The primary challenge arises from the closure of the 10/28 runway on the Palam side due to repairs. Consequently, only one active runway remains usable in low visibility conditions. Let's delve into what CAT III entails. It serves as the standard for precision approach, enabling aircraft operations in conditions of reduced visibility. Furthermore, CAT III is subcategorized into A, B, and C. CAT III A permits aircraft operations up to a visual range of 200 meters, CAT III B facilitates operations up to 50 meters, and CAT III C allows for aircraft operations in situations with no visual range.

This might be controversial for a lot of people but not everyone who can buy the ticket should be allowed in this beautiful queen of rails. As my mother, grandmother and grandfather have always emphasized on this one thing which I do believe is true in letter and spirit: "Money doesn't bring you civic sense and understanding of civic duties, it simply gives you an opportunity to show that your upbringing and civil etiquettes are solid enough to allow you amongst the civilized society". What it means, no gutkha pan etc in railway premises and trains, using washroom like you do at home or if you use home washroom in very unhygienic manner then consider it national property and use it diligently especially because women too use it and railway toilets result in #uti mostly, don't litter and dirty premises and most importantly travel not with everything that you own , book parcel van in advance for the same so no inconvenience is caused to fellow passengers, not create nuisance for fellow passengers and most importantly carry yourself like scouts: "to help other people at all times; to keep yourself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight" Because otherwise viksit bharat will be a distant dream for next century too because PPP doesn't mean good civic sense. Also, fun fact! same people who litter trains and are nuisances in trains are people who don't even get up to go to washroom or ask for water in flights because the implementation of rules is stricter in airlines. #indianrailways #womensafety #trains #civicduties #india #viksitbharat #airways #airports #stations #india https://lnkd.in/dqifBEzc

Kerala-based Alhind Group has received approval from the Civil Aviation Ministry to launch its airline, Alhind Air. The group is set to begin operations by the end of this year, having secured the Air Operator Certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Starting with a fleet of three ATR-72 turboprop planes, Alhind Air will initially serve regional routes in southern India, including Cochin, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, and Chennai. As the fleet expands, the airline plans to operate across India and eventually launch international flights. At SkyTRAACS, we see this development as a significant move in the aviation landscape, reinforcing the need for advanced aviation finance automation. With more airlines entering the market, the role of streamlined financial operations becomes even more crucial to ensure sustainable growth and efficiency. #AviationNews #AirlineIndustry #AlhindAir #SkyTRAACS #AviationFinance #AviationAutomation #AirlineGrowth #RegionalAviation #AviationIndia
