A friend of mine was looking to do a renovation project in his home.
As we strictly do commercial construction, I explained that we would not be able to take on his project.
He then asked me what he should look for when hiring a contractor for the project.
Obviously, there are many important things to look at when hiring a contractor, however this is one thing I feel often gets overlooked.
I told him, when speaking with contractors, he should get a feeling that the contractor understands his objectives and would do everything possible to achieve his project goals.
As everyone's objectives vary, it is so important to find the contractor that will focus on delivering on your needs.
What do you feel is most important to look for when hiring a service provider?
