Excited to announce we launched some major updates to Civils.ai the past few days, including searching PDF CAD Drawings! 🏗️ It took quite a bit of trial and error to develop, but our algorithm can now understand the geometry, labels and details from PDF CAD drawings, allowing you to search for something like “foundation thickness on building type A” (for example) and our system will find the thickness looking across all the drawings on the project. The idea is also that by using Civils.ai, you build an archive of company design details you can search across on future projects to avoid redesign. We also launched a sharing and collaboration feature, allowing you to share the archive with others within your company or team allowing anyone else to start searching across the project design brief or bid (for example). Our data extraction algorithm was also improved, so it's much faster to process documents, we can process 1000's of pages of PDF text or drawings in minutes now, although Geotechnical documents still take a bit longer to process.
