She was quite an introvert and not very comfortable talking or presenting her own ideas. However, she was determined to transverse the path to impact. Transformed : Science to Business From 2016, we got incubated in Foundation for Science, Innovation and Development, IISc Bangalore. It was her transformative phase, where she had to step out of her comfort zone from just science to presenting to technology boards like Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Dept of Science and Technology, Technology Development Board, and DPIIT. Azooka was run mostly on grants received from these associations. Empowered for National Impact : IP to Manufacturing during COVID-19 Science and business expertise leap was during COVID-19 when Azooka’s Bio-sample kit technology was deployed to market at a time when there was an unprecedented supply chain shock and workforce shortage. She managed to ship 1 million units with just 1515 sq ft of production facility. Excelled at Leadership : Her technology leadership was first recognized after COVID-19 by National Startup Award for Women-led enterprise 2020 and Technology Development Board for deploying a critical Molecular Transport Medium during India’s national crisis. And Now .
