Last night I was out at a fabulous place in Leeds which combines the craft beer powerhouse of Kirkstall Brewery and a contemporary Michelin BIB Gourmand Indian dining experience from Dastaan. It was delicious and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. This bringing together of audiences is a clever move for both brands, those liking craft beer often are looking for more of an experience so the food from dastaan complements this and vice versa. Looking at how people can experience your brand in a different way and channel is essential for growth and to bring relevance.. if you are in retail how about food service or vice versa.. see the recent launch of Gymkhana sauces. Utilising the more fluid nature of how we access brands and products is going to be key to longer term success. I was very happy to see Sauce Shop new venture into dark kitchens and pairing with chicken.. clever way to bring the products to new audience and showcase how good they are.
