More specifically, a living environment tailored to the individual needs of our residents. We consider residents living in it should feel that it is “just like home”. So to ensure that we deliver the quality of life desired and expected by the residents we care for, we put in place the conditions that help them to remain autonomous for as long as possible, live life at their own pace, build relationships with other residents, welcome their families, and occupy their time as they wish. One of the best teams I had the pleasure of working with did daily huddles. It was 30 minutes of "How is everybody?", "What are you working on today?", and "How can we support you?" I didn't always have something new to tell, and I couldn't always help another team member with the problem they were facing, but it was nice to know that we were always there to support each other no matter what. Even though I don't work with these people anymore, we are still a team and the check-ins and support have never stopped. Communication is key! Never give up on your people and they will always be there for you when its your turn to need a shoulder to lean on. #Support #Team
