CARPET LESSON
I was conducting a bespoke training program for a carpet retailer. The initial training was for three days with follow up over twelve weeks.
One of the sections was on follow up. If there were any issues with the installation of the carpet they would show after about 30 days so it was important that customers be phoned around that time.
“Oh! We don’t want to phone them then.”
“Why?”
“They may have a problem”
To develop skills one first had to change attitude.
The most important/high price purchases most of us will make will be buying a house and a car yet how many of those sellers follow up, not just immediately but in a year’s time?
