Lots of neat stuff here, but for me the most important feature is being able to _converse_ with the route planner. When we take our EQV on long trips with the family, current route planners just don't work. Why? Scenario 1: We're 200 km from our destination and the battery is at 55%. Our kids are getting hungry, and the dog needs a walk. What's the best place to stop? Today's MBUX panel is unable to plan this for me. Doing the same in Google Maps, Apple Maps, Here, etc is just as hard. Scenario 2: We're heading home from the mountains and 100 km up ahead, there has been an accident. Only the route planner from Statens vegvesen - Norwegian Public Roads Administration has the most up-to-date info, but it doesn't integrate with my car. Instead, I just see our ETA mysteriously going up, and new routes being suggested without any explanation as to why. Scenario 3: We want to take the most scenic route, optimize for battery range, but also not charge someplace where there is nothing to do. All these things become easier if you can engage in a planning dialog with the routing system. For me, that's where the value is. Why hasn't Apple made this already? No idea.
