Train with integrity. Set yourself standards. Don’t cheat on your reps or the quality of your effort. Be the best you can be. Train the same way by yourself as you would in front of an audience or with a partner. It’s the manner of the work you put in that matters more than how fast you did it or the amount you achieved. It took me a long time to learn this. When we train with integrity, we don’t cut corners or drop our standards when the coach is looking the other way or if no-one will ever find out or if we want to be faster than someone else. Integrity upholds a set of values we have set for ourselves. It’s those values that keep us on the path to success. #traininglessons #integrity #standards #values #cheating #success #gym #training #quality #effort #learning #truetoyourself #gymlessons #lifestyle #healthspan #healthspantraining.

Are you working out? Or are you training? Going to F45 or Orange Theroy, but not seeing results? Working out and training may seem similar, but they are fundamentally different in approach and purpose. Working out typically involves going to the gym without a structured plan, engaging in various exercises based on preference or mood or whatever the class is offering, and lacking a clear direction. In contrast, training is a deliberate and strategic process where each session is part of a well-designed program with specific goals in mind. Training focuses on progressing towards a defined objective, such as increasing strength, enhancing endurance, or achieving a particular physique, through a systematic and disciplined regimen. This goal-oriented approach ensures that every exercise, set, and repetition contributes to the overall progress, making training a more effective and efficient path to high performance and optimal results. Need advice on how to structure a training program? For a short time I’m offering a complimentary 30 minute success session. This is for you if you are an Executive professional and high performer. If you want to see real progress, you need a real plan. Send me a message and we’ll set up a time to talk. #fitness #weightloss #workout #goals #progress #healthiswealth

Community Sales Manager at Primal Strength | Building Engaged Communities | Gym Design and Gym Equipment Specialist
Quality over quantity is paramount. While hiring numerous coaches may seem like the practical choice from an operational standpoint.. It’s crucial to ask yourself several questions.. Is my gym sufficiently busy to sustain business for all of my coaches? Will all of my coaches effectively cater to our member base? Do I possess the time to adequately manage and develop each coach? Can I depend on every coach? In my experience, the answer to most of these questions is no. Finding reliable, knowledgeable, positive-minded, and friendly coaches is challenging. Therefore.. Its advisable to stick to a select few exceptionally skilled coaches in your gym, elevate their proficiency, and support their business. In return, they’ll care for your member base. #gym #business #fitness #personaltrainer

Cultivate the ability to train alone. This can be harder for some than for others. Some of us are more social. Some of us train only for social reasons. We enjoy the community, the bonding and sharing in the experience of exercise and movement. Some of us require a training partner for accountability. I totally understand that. However, in terms of sustainability and making sure you stay on track with your training, having the ability to train independently rather than dependently is a genuine superpower. I’ve had periods where I’ve had a training partner, be it for running or going to the gym. But when my partner couldn’t join me it made the task of training - or getting to training - much harder. Being able to train solo has always allowed me to be consistent - my training and results are down to me. Once you understand and accept that, you will ditch all your excuses. How easy is it for you to commit to training by yourself? #training #superpower #independent #dependent #accountability #fitness #gym #running #social #trainingforsociability #community #alone #trainsolo #trainalone #sustainability #lifespan #lifespanfitness.

Director & Founder of Movestrong Ltd. Working Online, teaching busy professionals to use kettlebells safely & productively to stay stronger for longer.
Testimonials from clients like Rasheed illustrate the positive impact on-line personal training can have for a large portion of the population. Many folks aren't looking to train for any particular event or sport, they simply want to move better, with less pain and not run out of breath walking up the stairs. These professionals want a coaching system that is time-efficient, easy to follow(and therefore adhere to) and doesn't require a masters degree in biomechanics to understand. Using kettlebells as the tool to link client intent with desired coaching outcomes, I help my clients bend better, get out the car with less difficulty and wrestle with their grandkids without slipping a disc. It doesn't have to be complicated, it just needs to be done right and done often. Move Well, Movestrong! #exercise #fitness #onlinept #personaltrainer #strength

Why Group Training is a Terrible Way to Get in Shape You probably have a favorite group class. Maybe you bought a year-long membership that includes group workout classes… I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this is a flawed approach to getting in shape. Here’s why… When you have multiple people doing the same thing in a class they all have to do the same workout regardless of their experience and level of fitness. How can you progress after one year if you are still doing the same workouts that the person who just joined the gym is doing? Group classes don’t account for your level of readiness or recovery that day, or how well you slept, how stressful of a week you had, etc. They just teach you to go full blast and jump on the walls and shit. Yes, it’s nice to workout together with other people, but are you really working out for just the sake of working out? Or do you want results? You don’t go to work just for the sake of working. You also shouldn’t go to the gym just to get some exercise. The only way to get great results is working with a coach 1-1. It will be one of the best investments of your life. When you work with a great coach, you get lasting results and even when you stop the coaching eventually the benefits you will reap for the rest of your life. #grouptraining #personalcoaching #fitnessresults #1on1training #fitnessadvice #wourkoutwisdom #bespokefitness #fitnesstruth #healthjourney
