The first full session of the Clinical Pharmacology course, collaboratively organised and delivered by #Cambridgeuniversity and #AstraZeneca, was held and the following topics were covered: - Drug receptor interactions illustrated by G protein coupled receptors - ADME and pharmacokinetics in non- clinical species - Safety evaluation of organ-specific toxicity in First In Human Thank you to the speakers for the stimulating presentations. #Clinicalpharmacology

The fifth out of six sessions on Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) and Reimbursement as part of the 2023/2024 ITIT course was held from Wednesday, May 29th to Thursday, May 30th. We are grateful to all the speakers at AstraZeneca for their time and for delivering highly engaging and very informative presentations. The delegates received an insightful overview of Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs), PROs, Health Economics, and Reimbursement. A massive thank you to Amgen in Cambridge for hosting a very successful 4th session on clinical trials as part of the 2023/2024 ITIT course. Thank you to everyone at Amgen who gave up their time to share their knowledge and thank you to Lucy DeCosta and Cathy Stokes for organising the session. The delegates got an overview of clinical trial planning, found out what clinical program operations, regulatory affairs, patient safety, and observational research really do as well as being treated to a workshop on estimands and discussions on some current hot topics in clinical trials.
