Error messages should be expressed in plain language (no error codes), precisely indicate the problem, and constructively suggest a solution. UX Tips: Use traditional error message visuals, like bold, red text. Tell users what went wrong in a language they will understand — avoid technical jargon. Offers a user a solution, like a shortcut that can solve the error immediately. https://lnkd.in/gDjdX2W3 #ux #Uxarticels #UI #Userexperience #Userinterface #Productdesign #nngroup #userresearch #interactiondesign #errorguidelines #errorimprovement #usabilitytest

3 ways to prevent negative emotions in the user experience. 👤 When designing a user interface for people who are facing a daunting experience, it should be made as frictionless and as easy as possible to use. You can look to a variety of areas throughout the user experience where you can induce positive emotion. The first step, however, is to learn to recognise parts of the user interface (UI) that could lead to negative emotions to eliminate or fix those problem areas. The Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) suggested 3 ways to prevent negative emotions in the user experience of a digital product. 1️⃣Reduce Friction 2️⃣Demonstrate Intention 3️⃣Build the Best Information Architecture Possible Learn more in this video 👉https://lnkd.in/ecew2GZU #UXDesign #UIDesign #UserExperience #UX #UI

Tired of empty screens confusing your users? A simple yet effective way to guide users is to provide clear and actionable prompts even when there's no data to display. Instead of leaving them staring at a blank space, offer suggestions or next steps. For example, instead of just saying "No Tasks," try something like "Ready to get started? Create your first task now." This small change can significantly improve the user experience and encourage engagement. What are your favorite techniques for guiding users without empty screens? Share your tips below! #UI #UX #UserExperience #DesignTips #AppDesign #WebDesign"

🔸 When it comes to long texts, left alignment is considered the best option as it makes the text easier to read. A consistent left margin provides users with a reliable reference point as they complete each line. 🔸 Center alignment, on the other hand, changes the starting point of each line, making it more challenging for users to find the beginning of each line. This can require additional effort for readers to continue reading. 🔸 In conclusion, aligning text to the left is the optimal choice for enhancing readability and user experience. By keeping the text aligned consistently, users can easily comprehend the content without unnecessary distractions. #UserExperience #UX #UI #Userfriendly

When they don't want to spend a lot of time thinking about User Experience. I don't understand this experience with new Teams and old Teams. I don't know why they chose this experience but I think in the ideal case the old Teams application will be replaced with the new Teams application and the old Teams will be deleted. The new Teams interface is the same old Teams interface only a few UI changes but overall they are similar applications. Now I am confused with two Teams applications. User testing and user feedback are the most important things. #uxdesign #ux #product #productdesign #design #ui #uidesign #uxdesigner #uxresearch #usertesting #feedback
