As the year came to a close and many were preparing for the Christmas break, we were delighted to see the Winthrop Committee receive the keys to their new Café and Garden Development, right on schedule. This incredible project was made possible by the support of a government grant, as well as the invaluable contributions, both practical and financial of the friends, supporters and the customers of Winthrop Gardens. A true testament to the strength of this community and we at Claywood are proud to have played a part in its realisation. The new facility, a well-deserved space for staff, volunteers and the local community, will be formally opened at the end of the month by Cllr. John Barber and MP Jake Richards. It promises to be a "momentous day for Winthrop". A huge congratulations to our site manager Kevin Mitchell, the Claywood Design Team and our supply chain partners for their exceptional work on this project.
