✅ out the @2023stateofsurvivorship survey from the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship One of the key learnings this year was around #caregivers "Caregivers experience a number of physical, emotional, and mental health issues related to their loved one’s cancer and many do not receive the support they need." Just as cancer is about the whole person, we must remember that it impacts the caregiving team. As #exerciseoncology professionals, it is crucial include the caregiver into the conversations about the individual you are working with but also to make sure your recommendations INCLUDE the caregiver and their physical and emotional needs. It's a simple ask and will help with #exercise and #physicalactivity compliance, communication and improve outcomes! #exerciseismedicine
