This year, our partners at the National School Climate Center (NSCC) have implemented several changes to expand the use and impact of their CSCI (Comprehensive School Climate Inventory) survey. The CSCI has been revised to include comprehensive scoring and reporting processes, address matters related to equity and inclusion, and correspond with an NSCC bullying survey that allows interested parties to discover potential underlying causes of school climate issues. Additionally, NSCC’s collaboration with Resonant Education has made it possible for the CSCI to be easily administered to students, parents, and school staff using an online platform. Click the link below to learn more about the CSCI and how its new updates can support your district goals! https://lnkd.in/eND_7_Yd

A Community of Practice (CoP) is a group with a common interest and a commitment to learning and improving together over time. The strength of CoPs lies in their organic nature—members choose to participate because they share a genuine interest in improving their practice. They are a safe space to celebrate wins and failures, with the group collectively learning from any attempts that didn’t go as intended. CoPs model a learner-centered approach, creating meaningful collaboration and equity of voice through protocols and dedicated time for reflection and sharing about the learning. These communities are built on trust, shared values, and the understanding that the collective wisdom of the group will lead to more meaningful, scalable change. The 94 Calls to Action (CTAs) are actionable policy recommendations meant to aid the healing process in two ways: acknowledging the full, horrifying history of the residential schools system, and creating systems to prevent these abuses from ever happening again in the future. Allocate proper time for First Nations people to facilitate/educate. A "quick" workshop or wanting some thing short. Does not tell First Nations people that you value them enough to provide the time to hear us out.

Experienced business continuity and risk management consultant working with you to energise your business resilience
School kids need better, and more joined up business continuity planning from the Department for Education and Local Authorities to reinstate or identify land and put up modular buildings quickly. If this were my child in GCSE year I wouldn't be delighted with the strategy here: "Year groups are currently alternating between home and school-learning." With RAAC also impacting on school estates it just goes to show that incidents compound on existing pressures.
